The ZDS currently has about 260 members all over the world.
In addition to the image gain associated with membership through the outwardly visible support of the world's leading training and further education institute for the confectionery industry, becoming a member of ZDS also brings concrete, measurable benefits:
The ZDS membership is valid for each country. The membership benefits can also be used by 100% subsidiaries of the member company in the same country.
Special tariffs apply for international memberships. Applications for ZDS membership from companies based in a country outside Europe in the geographical sense will be examined by the ZDS Executive Board.
Please contact our management secretariat for any questions regarding membership.

In consultation with the member company, the ZDS specialist instructors, possibly supplemented by external specialists, create specific test arrangements or training programmes and then carry out the planned measures exclusively. Of course, consulting and training, especially for tests and product developments, is subject to absolute confidentiality and secrecy.
The participant documents (presentations, specialist information) are always handed out on USB sticks. Depending on the scope of the private measure, specific offers are made for this training, which take into account both the personnel and material costs. Billing is based on the measure carried out.
For the accommodation of participants at such events, several hotels are available in which rooms can be booked at ZDS special conditions. Booking and settlement are the responsibility of the member, but for sure, we are pleased to help you.
The association is sponsored by the Zentralfachschule der Deutschen Süßwarenwirtschaft e.V. (Central College of the German Confectionery Industry). The association was founded in 1951. It currently consists of approx. 260 members from all sectors of the confectionery, food, supplier and machine industries as well as trade from Germany and from near and far foreign countries.
Membership in the sponsoring association is associated with numerous advantages, among others: Special conditions for participation in events; advice from the ZDS team of experts; use of the technical centres; individual training courses.
