The Framework Program

The main purpose of the supporting program is to provide an opportunity for networking and for the participants to get in contact with the lecturers, the members of the organizing committee or in direct exchange with other important personalities from the global chocolate industry who will be represented at CHOCO TEC.

The Organizing Committee

Programming will begin immediately after the last CHOCO TEC. An intensive period begins - in search of interesting topics, top-class lecturers and a few add-ons in the program. For that reason ZDS is getting supported of  an organizing committee over the last years. Experienced specialists from some of the best-known chocolate companies and institutions have joined forces in this team to create a program that meets your requirements. At the CHOCO TEC themselves, they will be represented as moderators and, in addition to the ZDS, will also be available as central contact persons for the event.

The Industrial Exhibition

During the entire event, an industrial exhibition will take place in the exhibition halls, which has since become an important part of CHOCO TEC. Here, the approximately 50 exhibitors from all over Europe have the opportunity to present their companies, their products or their machines to an international audience. Some of the exhibitors will present their novelties in short presentations during the generous breaks.

The Poster Exhibition

The special feature of this congress is the combination of scientific topics with contributions from the international chocolate industry. In addition to the lectures, the poster exhibition plays a central role. The conference participants visit the posters in the breaks as well as during the specially planned "poster session". There will also be a "poster slam" where poster exhibitors will be given the opportunity to present the most important contents of their research to the plenum within a short period of time.

The product sample exhibition

"If chocolate is the answer - then the question is unimportant!"

This is the best way to describe the CHOCO TEC framework program. Because one thing cannot and must not be missing at this event and that is chocolate. Over the years it has become firmly established that there are several product sample exhibitions during the congress breaks, where both established and new products can be exhibited and tasted.

Dinner at the world-famous chocolate museum

What would a trip to Cologne to CHOCO TEC be without a visit to the world-famous chocolate museum? For this reason, we are happy every year to spend the first evening of events in the Chocolate Museum in an indescribable atmosphere on the Rhine. A chocolate buffet that you can enjoy before, during or after the actual meal leaves nothing to be desired. In recent years, our guests have been able to enjoy a "special act" from time to time. Among other things, magicians, dance and music groups as well as Santa Claus personally were part of the evening event.
