With over 20 years experience tracking and analysing new product trends, David Jago offers a unique perspective on the marketplace and future new product development.

As Director of Innovation & Insight he is responsible for providing tailored research and analysis in the fields of product development, market appraisal and competitor evaluation, to a broad range of packaged goods manufacturers and agencies in Europe, North America and Asia. The role incorporates a close involvement in the continued development of Mintel GNPD.

SWEET TEC 2015 - Meeting Point for the international Confectionery Industry

The SWEET TEC conference which will take place in Solingen between September 29 and 30, 2015 has, in the meantime, established itself as an important event in the confectionery industry. This conference will once again focus on - confectionery products!

The ZDS seminar team and the international SWEET TEC organizing committee are currently working on the detailed program for that event.
This year we will continue with the main subject of 2014, i.e. “Medicated Confectionery”. The focus of SWEET TEC 2015 will be on “Medicated Confectionery / Self-Medication”.
Healthy sweeteners? Is there such a thing?

2 days – 6 different topics:

•    Growth potential for confectionery – The Healthcare market in Europe
•    Concepts for Over the Counter (OTC)-Products
•    Exotic Sweeteners on the - Differentiation potential for Confectionery
•    Dedicated Customer Products: Niche Market or Market Potential?
•    Process Technology
•    Packaging

This event will, of course, offer the opportunity to taste some products and to contact their manufacturers as well as the participants of the entire value-added chain directly on site. Thus, we have invited international experts who will answer your questions. A foyer exhibition will complete the program and will give you the possibility to talk to your potential business partner in person. The international character of this congress will be emphasized by simultaneous translations into German and English.

Target Groups:
People working in the sugar confectionery business as well as the supplier industry and machine manufacturers, specifically R&D staff, QM employees, marketing and production managers.
