This intensive course imparts a broad overview on sugar confectionery products. Core ingredients and production techniques are presented. Theoretical knowledge is provided by the technical instructors of the ZDS. In the practical parts the participants produce the products in small groups. Additionally industrial production is demonstrated using the ZDS' pilot machinery. Raw materials are presented in detail with their characteristics; also example recipes are provided. As a plus, course schedule allows for including additional topics relevant for the participants.

The uniqueness of this course lies in the possibility to obtain not only a certificate of participation, but also a diploma in sugar confectionery technology when passing the written exam. Our diploma is internationally highly recognized.
COMBINATION: 2-weeks SUGAR CONFECTIONERY + 4-weeks CHOCOLATE
Booking both courses is beneficial as the ZDS offers a price discount. The course fee for both, sugar confectionery and chocolate (6 weeks in total), amounts to 14.487,00 € for non-members and 11.787,00 € for ZDS members. Booking is company not person related so that a company can book both courses with different persons attending the parts.
The price includes accommodation in a 4-star hotel in Solingen Gräfrath (single room, incl. breakfast) in walking distance to the ZDS. Lunch and dinner will be provided at the ZDS.
Upon arrival the ZDS offers information about interesting sightseeing and leisure activities, about public transport, shopping, etc. Furthermore regional leisure trips are organized by the ZDS that can be attended by the participants on a voluntary basis.
You will receive the diploma during the course of a casual farewell dinner.
