Much more than learning! An exciting week all about chocolate comes to an end today for 13 cocoa farmers from Colombia.
They took part in the first week of our two-week chocolate introductory course. Making chocolate from their own cocoa beans was a great experience for them.
All areas - from the quality of the cocoa bean, roasting and tempering, to the production of the finished chocolate - were covered in theory and practice. We would like to thank the companies Netzsch, Sollich and Loders Croklaan for their support.
This great experience was made possible for the cocoa farmers by the Alianza Región. Alianza Región supports the local cocoa farmers in Colombia with trainings.
The remaining participants from Chile, Peru, Spain and Brazil will be dealing with the topic "Production and insertion of fillings" during the second week of the course.
